Outlook Express Again

hi guys,

I'm back. I've managed to write a script that will make text files of all
the mails in the Out Box folder of Outlook Express, and copy them to a
designated folder within the Startup Disk. Thanks to Paul's help.

The files even have been named (so that they cannot be overwritten) using
the DD.MM_HH.MM.SS file name. Thus retaining unique names.

Now, I can include the script to be executed from the schedule of "Send and
Receive" and I'm sure it will work.

But my problem comes here. If I open a new window to compose a mail and
click the "Send now" button, I cannot get the script to be executed.

I have managed to "theorise" a solution.

1. To make the above script to be executed at startup and close at shutdown
of Outlook Express running throughout the life span of OE. That way I can
keep a check on the Outbox at all times. Can this be done here on the Mac or
am I proceeding on futile territory?

2. Alternatively, is there some way, I can ask Outlook Express to run a
script when the "Send Now" button is clicked. I know this cant be achieved
by a script,.... it has to be supported by OE.

Need help badly. Otherwise two days of work could go down just like a pint
of beer.

Cheers

Neil
