COOL SAMPLES that DO STUFF with open source.
I personally think this would be a great help to many people. My self
included. I have recently (a week ago) joined the list and began playing
with AS. I still don't have any OSAXen etc. I began because my father
wanted a script to open files and increment the file name. I just
completed File++ v 2.0 but definitely couldn't have done it without this
list! The code is still very rough and I have many things to do. I am
fairly geeky and have put in my share of head-meet-wall. (I'll be asking
for help right after my headache goes away.) I don't really mind
reinventing the wheel though as it gives me experience and its fun.
I would be more than willing to give input and do any legwork etc. I am in
college, but so far my classes are all very boring (Chem. Engr.) so I have
some time. One possible problem is that I have a Performa running 7.5.5.
I would accept any donations of newer equipment;-)
