Hm. I'm not so cheerful (yet). Another interface tool for AppleScript BESIDES FaceSpan? Could this mean that there'll be no FaceSpan for OS X?

Unless AppleScript Studio is compatible to FaceSpan or at least allows for an easy transition, this spells "OS 9 dead-end" for my FaceSpan Applications.

yes, probably. i suspect AppleScript Studio will use "nib"
files (as created by Interface Builder for Cocoa apps). if
so, i'm psyched.

FaceSpan would need a rewrite for X, and if they were smart
they'd use nib files too, which would make direct
compatibility with old FaceSpan projects unlikely. so
whether AS Studio is a product of DTI or not, the old
FaceSpan is probably end-of-life.
