Not sure how with SE but Script Debugger 2 will allow you to step through a
folder action. Save the script in "Debugging" mode.....attach it to the
folder and then trigger it. The script will open in Script Debugger(if it's
not already open) and allow you to step through it. It has been a great tool
for folder actions.
