I've always had trouble attaching scripts to function keys via the keyboard
control panel (crashes/freezes).

Would I be correct in assuming this is because I'm using a ADB keyboard
(PCI-PowerMac non G3) whilst running OS 9.1? (This is the only reason I can think
of for the problem).
