How to get a folder's file list sorted by date in OSX?

I am trying to process a folder, that has about 2500 files in it , and I am
placing them on pages in InDesign. I have all the step and repeat, place
functions done.
But NOW the client wants them in the order they were created, with the
oldest being placed first and so on.
Does anyone know of any tricks to get the 3finder2 to return contents of
folder by date, instead of name?
