I feel your pain. Last year my company switched to MySQL database running on a Dell. I gave
up trying to use AppleScript for the project. AppleScript is great for alot-of-stuff, but
not database fonts ends. I ended up using RealBasic with AppleScripts attached. That way I
got the best of both worlds.
