File busy

Hi again,

Is it any way to determin if a file is busy or not in MacOS X?

Today I have a solution running in MacOS 9 that works fine. This server is
spooling postscript files and then the file is not busy (spooling) a
applescript moves the file to Adobe Acrobat Distiller.

I am using the osax "File Busy" in this script, is this possible to do in
MacOS X?
