If you're still in OS 8/9, you're far better off using the osax Stuffit
Commands, which you can at http://www.osaxen.com. It can do everything, and
then some.

But even Stuffit Expander itself has one basic, not reliable, command with a
couple of parameters. Even in OS 10, Stuffit Expander 6.01's dictionary has:

Expand: Expand the specified list of documents/folders/disks
Expand list of alias -- List of documents/folders/disks to Expand
[Delete Original boolean] -- Should the files be deleted after they
are expanded?
[Destination alias] -- Alternate destination for the files
Result: integer -- Returns the number of files that were successfully
expanded.



I don't understand why you wouldn't be seeing that. What version do you
have?
