My RAM fault was intermittant. The usual memory tests didn't show anything amiss.

To track the problem down I removed the extra RAM SIMM I'd added and ran the machine for a week or so. Eventually, I had another crash. I replaced the SIMM and removed the one on the underside of the CPU board and ran with that configuration for a while. That was done two months ago. I've not had a crash since.
