My question would be:
Why are you not "aware" of an "update" command? It's in the Finder
Dictionary. If you don't use application AppleScript Dictionaries, you're
shooting yourself in the foot, or the head, really, before you even get
started. The dictionaries unfortunately often don't offer a full
explanation, and "update" is one of those. But now that you've been told
about it, how can you not be aware of it?
