Running scripts over network

  • Subject: Running scripts over network

I have a Ethernet AppleTalk LAN in my house, and I was wondering if there is a way to run a script on a computer and have it execute on another computer on the network.

Like:

set themachine to display dialog "What's the name of the computer" default answer ""

tell application "Finder" of machine themachine
do whatever
end tell

Thanks,

Dave
