Words words words.
The speed of perl wrt to Eudora is meaningless to me. I don't use
perl. I use AppleScript. Eudora's AS dictionary is still a fetid
confusing pile of snakes best dealt with in a pub. As well, the
Eudora address book is rather limited compared to Entourages.
I asked for examples. The quality of your reasoning is certainly
worthy of the pub and of little else.
Why does the Windows version still have a lot of UI features that I
will evidently never get on the Mac.
The Windows version has been very buggy for most of its existence and
in fact has very few features. The UI of the Mac version is
configurable just as you please and all with Apple Events if you
please. Besides, Eudora is the only mail agent that provides a
configurable toolbar with buttons running any script the user needs,
15 of which can be activated with function keys. With one key stroke
or mouse click I can run any script I want.
