Not that I am aware of. What are you trying to do? - it may be possible to do it using the QUicktime player, or menu automating kind of things.

Is there any way to control iMovie (OSX) using AppleScript? I need to
integrate it into a production workflow and I can't find any documentation
on the subject.

If iMovie doesn't support AppleScript, that's not good. You would think that
Apple would support it's own technologies!
