not that i'd defend it to the teeth (i'm likely to switch to
Mail in Jaguar), but a personality has an account, a return
address, a preferred signature, and a mail checking and
sending behavior.. i use multiple personalities with the
same account to provide alternate return addresses, for
instance
and i do use personalities to log in as someone else.. i
have personalities for which i can turn on mail checking as
a stand-in service when another person's machine is down
Why do I have two terms that seem to mean other things. Mailboxes
would seem to be what personalities actually are. Folders would seem
to be what mailboxes are. Why are folders there at all?
i have several mailboxes per personality, and an assortment
of mailboxes that aren't tied to a particular account or
personality
