On reflection (which I didn't give it yesterday), I'll retract that
completely until I've had a chance to look at Address Book 2. The slur above
applies of course only to the Apple apps in OS 10.0 and 10.1 (where Mail was
already improving a bit). There were some hints that AppleScript support
might be a lot better in 10.2 generally, so I was disappointed to hear a
first contrary report, but I should not have said anything until I get a
chance to look at it for myself - just a couple of days away now. I do not
believe that every contact/address book application needs to use identical
terminology, and it may require a bit of study to get to terms with
different applications (Eudora included - which I don't use, so I haven't
said anything there). I'll give Address Book 2 proper consideration before I
comment again.
