The Script Runner was a temporary kluge to get some of the Script Menu

That's a pity, because I've never liked stretching up to that corner
of the screen to do things; maybe being left-handed has something to
do with it. Though I haven't used Script Runner much, it is useful
to be able to place it in a convenient position close to the work in
hand.
Does it actually not work any more? I'll be installing Jag-wire
next week and don't want too many nasty surprises.
According to the release notes for AppleScript 1.9:
"The Script Runner application has been replaced by the Script Menu
menu extra. A clean installation of Mac OS X will not install Script
Runner; an update installation will not remove an older copy, but
Script Runner may not work correctly in this version of Mac OS X.

Maybe someone can come up with an AppleScript Studio app that
replaces Script Runner. I haven't messed with AppleScript Studio so I
don't know what's possible.
