No, 'vax' pl. 'vaxen' / 'osax' pl. 'osaxen' are homologous with 'ox'
pl. 'oxen', which is the only English '-xen' plural.
And '-en' is a common suffix to form plurals in German; e.g.,
Frau/Frauen. The '-en' is even more common as the ending on plurals
if you also include those plural nouns that add the ending '-n' on
the singular form ending in 'e'; e.g., Traube/Trauben.
