Sorry. I had left out the "Users" folder from the path. So forget that side
issue.

Now that it turns out that there is indeed an

alias "OS X HD:Users:berkowit:Temporary Items:"

and an invisible


alias "OS X HD:Users:berkowit:Temporary Items:501:Temporary Items"

within it, why doesn't

path to temporary items form user domain

refer to that invisible folder in the user's sector? Why the one in
/private/temp/501/Temporary Items ?
