Text insertion in Photoshop 7

I have a client, a photographer, who needs a script to insert the file
name of a group of image files into a certain place in the image
itself. He uses both Photoshop 7 and GraphicConverter. I've never
scripted Photoshop and I can't think of a way to script it in
GraphicConverter. I don't have time right now to get up to speed on
Photoshop. Is there anyone with the requisite expertise who might be
interested in taking on the project?
