There was an editor on the Amiga (CED) that could do vertical cut and paste,
with the help of the Amiga's very useful script language ARexx I managed to
get it to cut out any size square of text without displacing any text around
it. I sold my all old Amiga gear months ago.
It's good to see the new G3/G4 Amiga1 now selling.
