You may also try:
/usr/bin/ditto
ditto -rsrcFork <source> <destination>

In fact I was looking for a script that will trash under OS X all the

AhhHa. The UNIX command cp ( for copy) has a problem on the Mac which
might be useful to you. It ignores the resource fork. If you do a
cp sourcefile /Volumes/theMountedDisk/
cp will recognize that the destination is a "folder" and will copy
the source file there with its original name but it will ignore the
resource fork. /Developer/Tools/CpMac it the tool that is intended to
"correct" that problem. It behaves as the finder does when you drag
and drop a file.
Take my stuff and set up the do script command so that it does a
simple UNIX /bin/cp and you should have what you want. You'll have to
hard code the destination folder/disk. This is not really AS. Ak off
list if you need some help.
Something else you might look at, if you're networked, is FTP. That
protocol ignores resource forks unless special precautions are taken.
