PowerPoint X (only) is AppleScriptable via 'do Visual Basic'. I.e., you have
to know PPT's VBA to do it. Having 'do Visual Basic' lets you run it from an
applet outside PPT, and/or in conjunction with a workflow involving other
apps. Otherwise, you might as well do it as a VBA macro within PPT, which
you can also do in earlier version (98, 2001) of PPT. The VB Editor in PPT
has a lot of information - you can also get books explaining PPT's VBA.
