Is it actually showing in a "Finder" window, or is it that it's being handled by "Preview" (an OS X application) which in turn is calling the QuickTime Codec support, thus making it the request to finder of something that should be requested of QuickTime (or at least of Preview)?

Just a thought late at night.
Best Wishes,

When previewing a movie in a finder window I see that it can determine
the dimensions of the movie. I can't seem to find where this is
available to the finder though. Anyone know?
