Is there a way to get the new System Events application online? I'd
like to try scripting the occasional piece of the GUI.
Speaking of GUI, I wonder what the thinking is behind using a hammer as
the icon for "Check Syntax" in Script Editor 2. The "Stop" sign for
"Stop" is terrific, but the hammer is pretty far away from "Check
Syntax" in my mind. I'm not wild about the symbol for "Record" either--
I would think they'd want to go with all pictures, or all symbols, but
not a mix. If they're looking for a picture, how about a microphone? My
two cents.

the move to Mac OS X now."
