Has anybody found the Script Editor Application Services?
I do not remember reading it will be there, just that it is there.
But I can not find it..

Look in the Script Editor Help and click on:

The Script Editor Service

for an example click on click on:

> TextEdit to Script Editor to TextEdit Services example

the following info will appear in textEdit

Script Editor Service

Select the numeric calculations below and choose Get Result of AppleScript from the TextEdit > Services > Script Editor sub-menu or type Command-Shift-*.

234/16 * pi

The calculation will be performed as an AppleScript script by the Script Editor and the result will replace the selected text in this TextEdit document.

also when the script editor is the front application
look under the script editor pull down

Hi Deivy,

After you have installed the new Script Editor, log out and then log back in. Select some text in an application such as TextEdit and then choose one of the menu items in the "Script Editor" menu in the Services menu of the application. One thing to keep in mind is that Services are generally only available in Cocoa applications. I believe that Carbon applications can take advantage of them now, but they have to be rewritten to do so, though I could be wrong about that.
