Editing resource forks

A quick question...

Under OS 9.x there were a number of OSAXen that I could use to edit the resource fork of a file.

I have an application that stores its preferences in this format still under OS 9 and OS X. Is there an OS X OSAX or something else that I could use to edit the resource fork of this file?
