On Wed, 30 Jan 2002 did you provide me with new ideas, since we also are
running pear2pear with our Filemaker solutions. How would you similar to the
LunchInvite script from Tao, ask for permission to run the serving databases
in the forground, and if reply not occures immediately... procede in turning
filemaker to the frontmost application on the serving machine?
I know that there until reasontly was an app making filemakers share of the
tic's the most, by FMInc warned people from using it, allthough I'm not
quite shure if the problem only counted as a problem to their marketing
dept. or the files realy got dodgy.
Our problem is a little too often that the person serving the files oftem
leaves his place with the browser in front, to handle visiting customers.
