I used the great shareware "X-Ray" and changed the permissions of my
Scripting Additions folder in the System. No ill effects. You could also do
this in the Terminal with a "sudo" command...with X-Ray it's via a GUI. Much
easier and intuitive, Apple should buy and incorporate this software into
the OS.
You could also ftp as root into your own machine and use Fetch 4.01 to
change permissions.

Thanks everyone, on my machine these other 2 folders don't exist yet
so I assumed that there was only one place to put them. I'll create
those other folders.
