Well, that's exactly what you have to do if you want to learn AS Studio.
There's a huge PDF Guide ("AppleScript Studio Documentation.pdf") to help
you through it that comes with it: it's in the Documentation folder in the
Developer folder created on your hard disk by the Dec2001DevToolsCD.dmg when
you install it. there's also a very helpful AppleScript Studio mailing list:
