However, once that's said, common sense tells me that the first priority
should be to thrash out all the known glitches, bugs, inconsistencies and

a few folk on this list who would be much relieved if they never had to

The transition to OS X is a pivotal point in AS's history, and it'd be
great if it could leave behind any of its little [<ahem>:] "eccentricities"
before they become entrenched in the New World too. New features are always
welcome, but I think tidying up the foundations should come first.

(p.s. As for our 3rd-party osaxen makers, perhaps Apple could show them
some support by cracking open the wallet a bit, in return for some suitable
development/licencing deal on a few of the more vital additions? Just a mad
thought for the pot...)
