But it doesn't fix anything in 9.2.2. I was doing just fine with AS 1.8.1 in
OS 10.1.2 and As 1.7 (yes, that's 1.7, not 1.6) in OS 9.2.1. Then I upgraded
to 9.2.2 to replicate a user's (different) problem, and got mired in
molasses. I can't run any scripts reliably in 9.2.2. They all die. Other
people don't have the problem. There's some 3-way interaction between AS, OS
9.2.2 other things, and unknown 3rd-party osaxen or extensions. The problem
seems to be somewhere else in 9.2.2 itself.
