offsets of (GTQ)

A strange one.
I type: set foo to offsets of ":" in bar
it compiles to: set foo to offsets of ":" target id bar
I removed every osax but offsets of, rebooted, turned off SD3's
dictionary, tried in both SD3 and SE, but still "in" compiles to "target
id" and at next compile it errors and I have to retype "in".
any clues?
