The Remote Access Commands scripting addition was phased out in OS 9.1, it's
functionality replaced by the Remote Access Suite in the 'Network Setup
Scripting' scripting addition. The main effects for users were more complex
syntax required to do the same old thing, and problems getting connection
status with the combination of NSS and RA 4. Thankfully, it's all a distant
memory since I (a) got hooked up to a cable modem & (b) migrated to OS X.
You might want to try the RA PPP Status OSAX, which was created to restore
the commands that were available with the RAC addition. It can be downloaded
