Do you mean you put an alias to a script in your Scripts folder, not an
actual script? Script Menu doesn't work with aliases -- it's a known
non-feature (aka "bug"). If you're getting this error with regular
script files, e.g. the sample ones, then that's rather weird. Can you
open the scripts in Script Editor?
