Hmm.... The problem with setting the destination in DropStuff's preferences
is that I only want the archives made from one particular folder to go to
the location I have in mind, but I'll also use DropStuff to compress other
files and folders which I'll want to go elsewhere. And of course having to
go manually moving files around defeats the purpose of having a script.
What I'm actually trying to do is replicate a droplet I used to use in OS 9
which would compress a set of FileMaker files to a backup folder, then
delete the oldest existing backup, so that I always had the two most recent
backups in the folder without having to clean out older backups manually.
Maybe I could set the prefs to "Same as Original" and then include some
Finder manipulation of the resulting file in the script... but not tonight
<yawn>.
