Well, actually, he has noncomputer interests anyway, plus he's still quite
active in AppleScript work, what with his clients, his talk at MWNY and so
on. I just couldn't resist the "iCal" thing, and I genuinely bemoan his
more-or-less absence from the lists latterly.
And I don't think shell scripts and AS Studio detract from the simplicity of
AppleScript. You can still write the same old simple, useful scripts you
always did. There's no reason to go off on these expert tangents if you
don't want to.
