scripting indesign, mysql

Hi list,

I'm new to applescript and looking for a solution to get data out
of a mysql database and into Indesign 2.0.

I use applescript for scripting indesign and normally perl
to fetch the data from mysql.
I tried MacSQL so I can use only applescript but I want a direct way without
another program.
Is this possible under OS X ?

Any tip is welcome.

Best regards

Gvtz Verdieck
