SD is attachable. You can trap the save command, and make it do a
compile
first.

Thanks for the tip Shane. I just don't follow it.
When I hit save it is compiling first and then it does something else.
This "something else" doesn't matter when my app is saved locally (I
never get the busy error when saving changes to my HD), but it does
matter to the app saved on the server. I assumed someone would blame our
network for being too slow, but I was hoping that someone would tell me
to disable the flux capacitor and it would stop doing that "something
else" during the save.

Thanks for the education Shane. I just read the SD 3 manual about it
being attachable. It sounds like you can alter the behavior of just
about anything that SD does. Your original suggestion now makes sense. I
can hang the save command until the file's not busy. Glory.
