Unfortunately, as Holly discovered, this updater does not contain the
Script Editor as it was not changed for 1.8.3. (Ironically, removing
the /Applications/AppleScript folder only removes Script Editor and
Script Runner, the two things that didn't change in 1.8.3. All the
other AppleScript parts are in /System).
Short of reinstalling 10.1.3 (which was the last full update that
included the Script Editor), you could might use the aforementioned
package utility -- or use this opportunity to investigate Script
Debugger or Smile...
