I downloaded the QuicKeys demo. I couldn't get QuicKeys to type an
option+command+escape. That may just be because I'm not at all familiar
with QuicKeys.
What happens if you set energy saver to shut down at a specific time
while FoxPro is running?
I haven't tried this yet, but I expect that it will not work because
FoxPro will not accept a quit event.
Will it accept the event quit from the finder?
No.
I have also just tried TypeText from Sdndi's Additions. I seem to be
able to have TypeText type an option+command+escape, but when I do,
nothing happens. It seems like the OS is treating option+command+escape
in a very special way (not surprising, I guess).
It seems that what I want cannot be done. Thanks to Marc for trying.

Telling the Finder to restart will not work because the
FoxPro app will not respond to the quit event.
I can't just have PreFab Player select "Exit" from the
"File" menu (did I mention that FoxPro doesn't use standard
menus?), because in an error situation the menu may not be
enabled.
Having PreFab Player type option+command+escape in the
FoxPro app does nothing.
