lost Apple Event Timeout error

With updating AppleScript to 1.8.3 I have got new strange trouble.
Sometimes I need use Scripting Additions with emulators of text input and
mose clicks in Adobe Illustrator 9 under MacOS 9.2.2. And now If AI 9 brings
modal dialog (Print, Missing Fonts and so on). Script is freezed and Apple
Event Timout error does not ?ccur. It to be treated?
