Hello, my name is Leo,
I am an admin of some Apple computers with MacOS 9.1 and 9.2 in a
DTP-environment.
All computers are equipped with Quark Xpress 4.11 and Extensis Suitcase 10.1.
The fault which arises is at the start of Xpress error number 1 or error
number 2 or 10.
The fault appears about every three or four days and can be cleared only with
the exchange of the system file.
We have Symantecs Norton Antivirus run - it seems to be no virus!
There are some applescript scripts for printing at work between Xpress and
Desktop print manager.
The macs are in a large network environment with mainframe, windows pc,
network printers and one Mac OS X server
with 172 GB disk capacity. The network ist sometimes very slow.
Please, my bumpy English excuses.
Somebody perhaps can give me a note to the fault remedying.
