Thanks a lot Jonathan. This was exactly what I had in mind. A possibility
to list the availible encodings and the tools to convert between them.
Some of the "MIME-names" are a bit cryptic though.

I didn't get the "StyledText2Unicode" and the vs. command to work on my
first test, but I tried non-listed "X-MAC-ROMAN" (following the logics)
with TECConvertText and it worked perfectly.
