Hi,
I have a problem and I think you can help me.
Imagine you have a file comment which contains the characters ":" &
"/". Now you want to name a file or folder after this file comment.
But you can't at first sight because characters like ":" & "/" are
not allowed in file- or folder names. So what do you do using
AppleScript to get rid of those characters in the file comment? I
know I can count characters in text but how do you delete specific
characters?
What are you talking about? The only character you can't use in a
file name is : (or / in OS X)
