If the folders name contains one of german characters (d, v, |) I get Script Error:
Can't make alias "Macintosh HD:Desktop Folder:Gr|n:" into a string.

Does anyone knows why? Is that a bug in german version? I use german System 9.2.2 and AppleScript 1.7.

It's a bug in AppleScript 1.7. You could...

1. downgrade to AppleScript 1.6.
2. upgrade to AppleScript 1.8.2 (still in beta; available for download from the Apple Developer site)
3. not use umlauts in your folder names.
