Although finding a copy of QUIL will be a trick.

I've still got a copy.

So do I. However, I'm not mailing it out to people.

Instead, I'm providing a URL, since I just remembered that the Scriptable Text Editor is still part of the AppleScript SDK:

<ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Development_Kits/AppleScript/AppleScript_SDK.sea.hqx>

Of course, a 50M download for an obsolete program is questionable, but I'll let everyone determine its questionability for their own needs.

This might be a better choice to grab STE.

The files from the companion disk for Danny Goodman's AppleScript Handbook can be downloaded at:
<http://www.dannyg.com/recentwriting.html#Danny Goodman's AppleScript Handbook>

Direct Download:
<http://dannyg.com/dl/ASHandbook.sit.hqx> 1.4 MB

This includes:

Handbook Scripts, AppleScript Runtime Samples, Scriptable Text Editor and TableServer.
