I wasn't aware of AppleScript when I was 14 years old, nor am i aware
of publicly archived discussions that reach that far back. I hope you can
understand.
No problem, but just because you're new on the scene doesn't mean I have
to willingly sit through another lengthy thread full of "I don't" and "I
do" messages. I hope you can understand.
Unless someone has something more to add that isn't just opinion or
personal anecdotes?
How about let's leave it at this:
AppleScript has English like elements in many places
AppleScript is not exactly English
AppleScript is not exactly another programming language
AppleScript does what it needs and does it decently well
AppleScript could use a few fixes, but they aren't impossible to work
around
AppleScript can be much easier with a little bit of practice
Everyone agreed? Good. This thread is getting quite long.
