Hi there,

my question regarding this topic is whether AS has the ability to
actually hide it's parameters?
i.e., can a property be defined as protected or something similar?

A run only applet offers such protection.

no, but also the original question was making confusion between hiding and protecting. A run only hides but does not protect. One could make the hiding more effective, and almost "protect", by making the name of the properties very long and difficult to guess. This is no protection nevertheless (have I mentioned..?)
