I just took my first shot at writing a toolbar script and was unpleasantly
surprised that they seeem to have to be applets. Am I missing something? I
was under the impression that you could use compiled scripts.
Of course it's still nice that it's possible at all. But having to use
applets, and thus the need for them to be launched, makes it quite slow.
(Actually, ridiculously slow, on a G4/400 with 768MB RAM - I'm hoping Jaguar
will deliver its promise.)
